School’s winding down, so now I actually have time to do fun things like thrifting, playing that dusty ukulele and enjoying a treat or too. Summer can’t come soon enough….
As always, if you hover over the pic, it’ll give you my typical little blurb.

My head was feeling scared but my heart was feeling free…

I quit using the provided filters on Instagram. I guess it was the same reason I quit using Hipstamatic…If I can create those effects with actual film, I’d rather do that. Now to get that Holga back out….

I’m trying not to let Instagram take over my photo taking. I think I’ve found a pretty nice balance and have really enjoyed socially networking with people through photography. Hooray!

This is what I’ve done to the memory of this musical.
Recently….Instagram edition
Recently posts are a lovely little patchwork of those random moments that happen through the week….this time, through Instagram! I finally hopped on the bandwagon and since I’m too incredibly busy to shoot photos like I normally do (t-minus one week until I’m finished with this musical business!) I’ve always got my phone on me. And my high school kids follow me on it, sigh, so now they’re satisfied that they are socially networking with me. Whatever keeps them from finding where I live.

Not-So-Tuesday Tunage.
Sorry! This is the one post I really try to keep up with. My buddy Scott made me a killer mix and I am sooooo in love with this song.
Recently.
Recently posts are a lovely little patchwork of those random moments that happen through the week….or in this case, over the past few weeks. Co-directing a musical is no laughing matter. It really consumes your life….but in a good way.

I’ve only ever given one detention in my entire teaching career and that was just a joke. Instead, if a kid says something they shouldn’t, they have to put something in the jar. Sometimes they give me sticks of gum, their exacto knife, loose change, wooden cut-outs of my name they make in shop class. But when the kids started making rage faces of me, I knew the jar needed remodeled.

Firsties!

My little cuckoo clock family left me the other day. I feel a little empty inside.

YIKES. Dropping your MacBook definitely makes your heart skip a beat. Luckily, no damage.

“CHEEEEEEESE.”

I started to get a little worried when they began reorganizing Ikea last year.
BUT I FOUND IT.

The set is coming along. Not quickly, but nicely.

So happy to be able to play outside again.
