That’s right. I’m on another one. Thirty days. Mostly so I can afford the UMAZIN tattoo I’m about to get on Friday. Pics to come! I ended up at UO this past weekend, so the last thing I bought before my hiatus was another member to add to my Dunny family. He’ll fit right in.
I seriously need to stop saving dresses from the Halloween racks at Goodwill.
My very good friends Jory and Emily got married. It was quite lovely once it quit raining.
I sang for them. I was super stressed about it.
And what better way to remember than with some art commemorating their first dance?
This is the first year I’ve tried gardening. And it’s gone surprisingly well! Usually plants fall victim to my very-opposite-of-green thumb, but I’m proud! I did have an unfortunate cauliflower incident which has turned me off to the vegetable FOR LIFE. I won’t go into the disgusting details, but here’s some of the harvest so far….
Lots ‘o tomatoes and banana peppers.
Some frightening beets.
Speaking of things that are growing fast, my Baby Friend Forever is walking now. Sigh.
And this just made me smile.
For Labor Day, we’ve started this tradition of getting out on a boat together. The weather was a total downer, so many of the photos give us a rather homeless quality. But we still had a nice time.
Couldn’t think of a more appropriate ending to our nautical adventure.
We went on a little journey into southern Ohio territory this past weekend. On the way we picked up the newest member of my ukulele family. Jodi was the one who inspired me to start playing and it was this instrument that made me swoon. So happy to have it. We then continued on to our friend’s place in Athens and made some wonderful new canine friends.
