With Christmas always comes some fun photography stuff and this year was no exception. Not only did I receive a Spinner 360, a Nishika 3D camera and a film scanner, my main man spoiled me with a Rebel T1I DSLR! I have to admit….though I have pretty good control with the Holga, there’s really not much to it. So I’ve got a lot of learning to do!
The last little bit from Christmas I still need to take down:
And my fave from the photoshoot for my sister’s band Valleytown:
My buddy Atom Lax has started a podcast called The Nomad Sessions. He travels with his mic and laptop to interview and record songs by up and coming musicians. He picked us to be his first! Wowzers! The podcast is still in the works, but here’s a little taste….
My buddy Atom Lax plays guitar like I’ve never seen anyone play guitar. He was asked to play at The Woodchopper’s Ball at the Kent Stage in Kent, Ohio. Quite an honor for a young, small town guy. He did so well and is truly one of the most talented people I’ve ever met.
On the way to the venue, we spotted some coooool yarn bombing outside of the bar we used to frequent in my college days.
Maybe ten minutes went by before Adam somehow already knew I had done this to the bathroom stall. I’ve never been caught so fast.
What did you do for RSD? I scored this uhmazin 7″ from a 1978 Akron band and a couple other great finds. I also tried to get a design together for the Poster Design Contest on Etsy…missed the deadline due to some family sadness, but I still like the idea…I may try to do something with it for my summer business…
