About

Mallory Gerstacker has been educating with the arts since she earned her Bachelors of Art from Kent State University in 2006. She is currently working from her home studio on a variety of projects and developing creative ideas aimed at benefiting her community. Students from many walks of life have come through her classroom doors; small children, high schoolers, adults, nursing home residents, at-risk youth, event attendees, and even other art teachers! In her personal journey to a more sustainable lifestyle, she realized that her art education career could also use an eco-overhaul. She strives to help her students utilize unwanted materials in beautiful, creative ways that they will treasure forever. Mallory earned her status as a “Master Recycler” in 2019 and is considered a leader in local recycling efforts.
